    good
  1.
Hey, I'm farming Herbs and Mines with an addon called Spotter. Its still not up to date for 3.1, and quite frankly Its never worked well enough to leave on a toon that I raid with (due to instability). I'd like to see the automatic flipping between searches incorporated into one farming addon. Any thoughts?

gatherer currently doesn't support this but i think there are other addons that do cycle your gathering professions but you have to hit a key for it.

http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/spotter.aspx read that and try the suggestion in the posts at the bottom about replacing files and editing the lua file.

MattBnr, you are right on. They made it easymode, too.

It's great that you keep your software up-to-date as well as you do.

Do you suppose someone could convice Wowhead to do the same? The last database release was last year!!!

    Bovacious,

The most recent update was the middle of February, which was produced after the changes were made to the maps.

As clearly noted in the comments of our file, until there is some change to the maps or change in the node locations, the current database reflects the location of the nodes.

Simply ensure that you have "Load Out of Date" AddOns selected on the main WoW AddOns Control Panel.

    Happy Gatherering,

    Nikk :shades:

The latest available D/L is still from February. Everfrost chips are listed under treasure and there are no locations for any of them in the database download. If you look the item (container) up on Wowhead, there is a map with about 50 locations showing, which have been on their map all along. I don't know how they managed to miss them!

    Bovacious,

Correct, the chips were not included, and are still not.

Perhaps in the next build they will be.

At present, Auctioneer and Gatherer itself are of much higher priority than the database and with limited staff, we prioritize when needed.

    Happy Gatherering,

    Nikk :shades:

Wowhead provides the data. We incorporate it into the addon. However, I expect folks are busy over at wowhead, too, right now.

Is there a way we can get the Wowhead Everfrost data and import it manually?

You'd need to ask Wowhead about taking their data, we obtain it through an agreement with them.

As far as importing it manually, there's not easy way to do that of which I'm aware. Someone could feasibly write a script to do it, but it would likely need to be someone not currently affiliated with the team as I'm not aware of anyone who has the time or interest to write such a script right now.
