    Hello!

I very commonly use the Batch post feature but strive to not flood the auction house. Therefore, I limit the amount of stacks I have it post. The problem is, I tend to deal with quite a lot of auctions at a time so using the Post tab to finish off the incomplete stacks tends to use quite a lot of time - up to a half-hour, in fact, if I manually do all of them. My question is - is there a way to make Batch Post finish off incomplete stacks but still limit the total amount of stacks it keeps on the auction house?

An example of what I am trying to figure out here is: I post Ore in stacks of 5 for the convenience of jewlcrafters, but if I don't even have 5 of the particular kind of ore, Batch Post will skip it because it is not a complete stack of 5. I can tell it to post ALL items but that is where me not wanting to flood the auction house come into play. At times I can have 10-20 stacks of the same item that I do NOT want screwing up the market.

    Thanks in advance!

    Malgrumm,

As noted in reply to this request on IRC, in short, no.

That is really the sort of thing where manual intervention is required. Batch Posting allows you to do many things, but guessing at your wishes is a bit beyond the scope. You can use the "Only" check box to set stack limits, but there is no way to use that, and then say, but if there are extras, post them or anything.

There is; however, a shortcut under "Configure" Utilities-> SimpleAuction, where you can "Enable Alt+Double click to post items" via the Simple Auction frame. It differs from the usual Alt+Single-click in Appraiser because it will post the item(s) immediately via your settings for that item on the "Post" frame rather than dragging or alt+clicking to view them in the frame, so it should be much faster/easier over all. It has no limit, so would not be appropriate where you have many left-overs, but if you have a partial stack or two remaining, it would work well.

    Happy Sales,

    Nikk :shades:

I missed the reply on IRC - thank you very much for your time both on here AND the chat, Nechckn. :rainbow:

Alright. I shall give the Alt+double click option a try.

    Excellent.

Now, though I have not met my "being a pain in the arse" criteria for the day, please consider this next question low-priority.

Is there a way to add the alt + double click functionality to the items in the appraiser window, rather than having to search through the items in my bags? :shamed:

Any changes in posting on the Appraiser window would alter your batch post settings, as batch post uses your appraiser settings.
