Just want to say right off that this add on is by far the best thing to happen to Warcraft. My level 23 warrior has not left the orc capital city since i downloaded auctioneer, thanks for your all of your hard work developers. My question is, do I reinvest all that I have made at auction, or should i keep a certain %. Also, Ive been sticking with the real bargains (70% less items), due to the fact that item markets seem to crash daily. Is this a bad idea or should I continue to bargain shop?

Here, this is just MY opinion ok, take it for what it is worth. Obsevation: You sound like I felt when I discovered Auctioneer. And it is a whole new game so to speak. I dived into it with 5g on a new server and never looked back. I have spent total weekends in the AH at one point in time. Playing the AH is a game within a game. An economic warfare game, you have to be smart and tactical, study your opponent and decide on your overall strategy. In the real world there is a old cliche about money. "You have to spend money to make money". That old cliche is time tested and proven true a thousand times over. So in my opinion, I say. definately yes, reinvest and keep reinvesting. It is an excellent way to make money in this game. Here is a brief example.

Last night, I logged into my AH Bot and did a scan. Then did a Bidbroker search, ehh not much to look at. Then I did a Broker search and BAM there it was. Someone had put up a Arcanite Rod for 99s buyout. Gasp. On my server they usually run 100g for one. Well after I closed my mouth from the shock I snatched that sucker up soooo fast, and grinned about it all the way to the mailbox. Immediately relisted it for 100g (going price) and sold it 2 hours later. Good thing no one was around when I collected my profits from the mailbox with a big (out loud) whoop of joy. I might have been embarassed or worse had to explain. Call me goofy or worse but it was almost as much a thrill as getting your first epic drop. Except this wasn't luck, this was strategy. See when you have 2kg you can afford to buy up expensive things and resell them for BIG profits. This was just pure icing on the cake though. Thats what is commonly referred to in the sales business as "killing the white elephant". Or the BIG SCORE, whatever you prefer hehe. It's still a thrill. Some of you might say "Well don't you feel pity for the guy who obviously made a mistake in listing it for 99s"? Well YES for all of about 10 sec. Then I get this evil grin on my face and think "sheesh that was the easiest 99g I have made in a long time".

You see, you are playing an AVATAR in this game. Yes I know your sitting behind the screen and keyboard, but you still have some animinity. It's not like your one of hundreds in the NYSE trying to sell your latest offering, face to face. I CHOOSE to be ruthless in the AH. I don't scam, or deliberatly mess with prices, or try to sell "Plain Letters" for 15g after atificially raising the price then underbidding hoping some newbie Auctioneer (like you) see's it as a good deal. But I get EVERY gold of profit I can get out of my auctions. Have I been burned and lost money? I certainly have and they were all painful, but good lessons, I'm much more careful now. I tell all my friends to NEVER buy my auctions, NEVER. But listen I have 4 Travelers bags on my AH Bot and they are constantly full of stuff to sell. I have reduced my AH time to like 5-6 hours a week cause I have other things to do in game and I still make a good 500g a week. I have 6 alts that I play on a regular basis and they all have nice gear to lvl in. Why spend so much on them you ask? Cause I can, plain and simple. I swore I would never be one of those people in chat begging "Can someone loan me Xg for my mount plz". I make my own money and deride the beggars all the time. All those alts btw have production professions and have started to supply my AH bot with stuff to sell. It's starting to really work out well (read: pay off).

I said I make 500g a week right, but the other side of that is that I also spend 300-600g a week in the AH. So it is constant turnover that keeps the gold rolling in. All I can say is that "I have a blast playing the AH game". I have been accused of being a "AH Farmer" by some. When I hear that it makes me smile with pride and then I go create a new AH Bot to keep my reputation down to a dull roar. I have gone through 3 so far, in a year's time.

Hope this helps your decision some. But, yeah I dig it. Really not much sense to use Auctioneer if you don't.
