is it possible for gatherer, or anyother mod for that matter, to auto ping an herb or miineral upon discovering it on the minimap? my problem is not remembering spawn points, but remembering to look at the minimat when avoiding mobs and navigating terrain.
if auto pinging an herb is not possible, maybe palying a default sound when the yellow dot appears would be easier.
well in both case you need access to something which you don't have access to.
The original tracking dot is part of Blizzard internal minimap code and is not accessible to the player UI (not even visible even browsing through all the children from the top level frame) and there's no player event for this so it can't be trapped to attach a trigger to it.
