    Ok, you got one person that crazy that he wants to make an effort and wants to try to write a kind of guide/document to auctioneer (as far as I understand it )

    Now I'm a bit lazy and don't want to post pictures to an external website, but directly in the forum. (What I mean is I want them to be visible in the post. Most of the times when an external website is used, you get the link to the picture and I don't want that).

    If I click the "Insert Image" button I only see the enter html-link. Probably that will be the only thing to use, but then my 2nd question is: which program can I use to convert *.bmp to *.jpg (or which program does accept the captured pictures and can save them as *.jpg).

    There's an attachments feature that you can use to host pictures on these forums. As for the conversion, checkout XnView.
