What is gatherer capable of in regards to tracking fishing schools, floating debris, etc? I know it was designed for herbs, chest and mining, but is there a way to use it or another program for fishing since it is a type of gathering?

    Thanks,

already track the fishing nodes since version 2.2.2. for standard fishing other addons, FishingBuddy to name one, are more appropriate.

no fishing node recording works, it's not based on chatline (since there never was any). It simply works a bit differently by grabbing the tooltip when you receive the loot, the details are in the changelog, look for version 2.2.2 section

I am not to computer savvy. What does this mean? Does it mean that the gatherer program is actually pulling the data from the tool tip when you mouse over the fishing node? If that is the case, is that function supposed to be working now or is it temporarily disabled? I hate to be a noob, but I am.

    Thanks,
