Everytime I'm in a battleground, when I rightclick on someone's corpse to remove their insignia I get the following error poped up on my screen in red text:

    Interface\FrameXML\WorldFrame.lau:17:
attempt to perform arithmetic on local
    `elapes' (a nill value)

I would really care at all but when I try to make the error go away by clicking on "Okay" nothing happenns, it just stays there.

I'm assuming this is a problem with gatherer but I could be wrong.
Can anyone please help me with this issue?

I have not seem this problem. Try disabling Gatherer and see if the problem goes away.

Since FrameXML is not a part of Gatherer. How sure are you that Gatherer is the problem and not any other addon? Are you using other addons? (If not than it is an almost clear pointer to Gatherer, since FrameXML is part of Blizzard (but on the other hand it can also mean that you've found an error in Blizzard code, so disable Gatherer and check again).

I am using other addons, however this problem stopped completly when i disabled Gatherer... The reason I thought it was gatherer's problem to begin with is its the only addon I have that is supposed to do something when i right click on some sort of node...

I think a good place to start would be to completly remove and then re-install all gatherer files.. but I don't want to loose all of my tracked herbs/minerals. Which file(s) should I back up before I remove gatherer?

    1) make a backup of your wow\WTF\Accounts\<account>\Savedvariables folder (or at least the Gatherer.lua (and maybe also the Gatherer.lua.bak) file in that folder).
    2) Delete that folder (or at least the mentioned file(s) under point 1).
    3) Restart the game and start gathering some stuff (which creates a new gatherer.lua (and .lua.bak) file)
    4) kill something and loo the corpse and check if problem occurs again.
5a) If no problems happen anymore go to 9a
5b) If it does follow the following steps
    6) delete wow\Interface\Addons\Gatherer folder (with all files in it)
    7) download latest version of Gatherer and install it
    8) repeat step 3 and 4
9a) If no problem happens anymore copy the gatherer.lua file back that you've backed up in 1) and repeate step 3 and 4
9b) else I don't know how to help you anymore. sorry. Wait for a developer to help you.
