I noticed that in r360, mining nodes appear on the minimap but not in the latest 2.0-compatible versions of MetaMap or Yatlas. I opened a Trac ticket on the issue.
Yes, I also have a problem with metamap. Problems:
1. I am unable to access the minimap button(Its dissapeared) 2. If I type /gatherer options I get an error message and metamap is in that message. 3. The nodes appear fine on the minimap, but not the main map.
Some more information that seems related to this...
(1) For the mainmap (standard blizzard map), only treasure icons are shown. Not ores, not herbs. (2) On the minimap, icons are shown, but for me, the colormap appears distorted. Every icon is reddish-grey. Very hard to see actually. Viewing the icons in the Gatherer\Icons folder, they are normal. So something is happening on rendering within WoW.
This relates to the alpha developer release (just downloaded within the hour).
I have posted a new alpha version of Gatherer that should address most of these problems. Ore and Herb nodes should now show up, but because of the default settings and the lack of a configuration UI at the moment, only miners will see Ore nodes and only Herbalists will see Herb nodes (this will apply to the Minimap as well now). The problem of a lack of proper icons for Treasure nodes should also be solved now.
Thanks, build 368 addresses the mainmap icon issue for me.
The minimap icons are still weird for me. I've tried altering /gather fperc 0, and /gather fperc 100 to see if that affects anything. No change in either case.
I have downloaded the new version and import old spawns form my old Gather.lua. At my minimap i can see ores and herbs but only old spawns. New spawns are saved to mainmap but not shown on the minimap. Any idea how to fix it?
Same has laiea here.... My mine node are recorded but not displaying on minimap.... I wipe my savevariables before installing the new version(keeping a safe copy of my old data) but the default setting do not display anything on minimap... I try modifying the setting via the /gather command but did not manage to any result...
