Hi I am a dad and I play WoW with my son. He has a level 60 char as do I. sometimes i play on his account to help him out. Well, what i was wondering is if auctioneer has a way to save scans on two different acounts on the same server and on the same computer. This would make it easier since i would only have to run one scan a day instead of two. I appreciate your help

  2.
    it's not possible atm
  3.
Might that be a possible addition on the next release of auctioneer?
  4.
I'm not sure about it... Many of the devs for auctioneer have little sparetime atm and I don't think we'll add too many new enhancements to 3.1... It might make it to 3.2 thogh... U could add a new ticket to make sure ur idea won't get lost.

Actually that is a WoW limitation and not a coding issue. The data that all the AddOns store are in this configuration "<WoW Folder>\WTF\Account\<YOUR ACCOUNT>\SavedVariables\<AddOn Name>.lua" which basically menas that NO ADDON can get data across accounts. We CAN do it across characters, factions and servvers but not between accounts. Your best bet is just to copy over the "<WoW Folder>\WTF\Account\<YOUR ACCOUNT>\SavedVariables\Auctioneer.lua" file from account to account before you start the game, that way you guarantee that both of you will have the same data and it will always be up-to-date. I'm sorry if this is not the answer you were looking for but it's a limitation that Blizzard put in, and we have no way to go around it.
