Just a heads up, the upload function of Watcher is broken today, it tries, it really does, then says it can't make the SQL server connection, or a similar error.

Yup. I think it has been doing that for a few days. Here is the error from the log: Error uploading data: Database error: Lost connection to MySQL server during query

Works for me too, BUT i've already seen and moused over a "Netherblüte" (Netherbloom) but it's still not shown in the /objects Page on wowwatcher - does it really do anything?! I mean, I upload daily but somehow it seems to habe no effect on the page.

Worked for me today. It was a pretty big upload but I feel relieved. ::giggles::

Maybe the net traffic that caused the lag in game also struck Watcher. Just a guess.

@winged: were you talking about the external with or without the ingame watcher? The reason I ask is that I use the external watcher without the ingame watcher (which was taken down at the moment I wanted to download it). So there might be some differences between how we use watcher to the fullest.

@Norganna: just a little suggestion: When you (or one of the other developers) have found time to upgrade the ingame addons for watcher it might be a good idea to limit the starter group to the people who have donated and to the group who already have the addon (but how can we know who they are?)

The reason why: With BottomFeeder I saw a kind of controlled feedback loop. If it is released to the general public at once it might be that the reactions are overkill, so out of controll.

But for now this is a future wish (number x on the list (first is Auctioneer to alpha, than ...)

Yup, I didn't discover Watcher until after BC came out... and the ingame version was unavailable. Awesome mods, Norganna. Love 'em all... and the devs, too!
