Like most of us here, I do a whole lot of buying and selling on the AH. Which means I get a whole lot of mail. And to counter-act the carpal tunnel syndrome I am getting from emptying my mailbox of "you have been outbid on scarlet panty hose"-mails, I have been triny to find a mail-mod that will empty my mailbox for me.

Unfortunately, the ones I have looked at have caused one type of problem or the other. I suspect it has to do with Auctioneer, possibly Beancounter "hooking" the mail-reception in some fashion. I know I did not get the usual "Reconciled 0 auctions (12 descrepancies)"-messages when I was using, for example, Postal to claim my mail. It also ended up locking the mailbox after a while so I could not get any mail out at all.

So, my question is: Does anyone know of a mail-mod that works with Auctioneer that will empty my mailbox automatically?

I would especially like to find one that uses the Ace2 framework, but that is not strictly a requirement.

If no such mod exists, would it be a realistic feature request for Auctioneer to be able to collect mail in bulk?

Okay, thank you. I was hoping you wouldn't say that -- because the CT prereqs have some pretty hefty memory footprints from what I am told -- but I guess it is better than nothing. :)

well, i don't know why beancounter is interfering - it shouldn't. so i can reopen the ticket for it and try to track it down, but i don't have any estimate for when someone will get to it.

No, no, please don't do that, I'm not sure it was Beancounters fault. In fact, I think that now that the server is no longer causing problems (there was some lag issues tonight while I was testing), I got Postal to work without causing trouble with Auctioneer at all. I'll let you know after I test it some more.
