    i'm sorry there seems to be some problem with the tooltips



    can you solve this problem? i feel so irritated by it =X

    ya another problem i encounter the bag tools tips after i mouse away the tools tips will still stay there... it won close till i mouse over other thing


    I'm having the same problem, however, its only when I look at an item that's been linked in chat. Any of the items I look at in AH, or my inventory the tool tip go's away after I move my mouse away from that item.

    I am using the latest gamma release 3.1.0.0506.

    Thanks for all the hard work from everyone involved with this mod..

    More info on /auctioneer not loading at all. I deactivated all addons except:
    Stubby
    Informant
    Enchantrix
    Acutioneer
    EnhToolTip

    and it still wouldn't load. There has got to be something simple as it work for others.

    Running 3.1.0.0502


    When I run /auctioner bidbroker or /acutioneer broker I get odd HSP for
    Greater Nether Essence.

    The HSP is way too high (about twice the sugested sell price)

    So far I only found inconsitency with that Item only. There is nothing in the recent scans or
    in the item history that indicates anything causing the escewed numbers. The sugested price
    in the tooltip window seems be well in line with the scans and averages. It's only the
    Highest Selling Price comparission that shows issues.

    Found the bugger that prevent \Auctioneer from loading.

    For all those people like me that is using IX v7 and just updating the broken mods, the new ACE is what is preventing Auctioneer from loading.

    I guess there is a choice to be made.

    Yeah, I had the same thing going as well then this new version was released and that was it. Now nothing works but Informant. I've pretty much given up on getting any help but I'll keep checking back.

    I installed gamma build 3.1.0.0502 (the full Pack) and am not having any trouble. The data conversion seemed to work fine. I did a couple Disenchants and AH scans. I set all 7 toons to load always for Auctioneer and Enchantrix. The only other AddOns I have are Gatherer and PartyPal.

    I am yet another guy with the [string "Auctioneer:OnLoad"]:2: attempt to call global 'Auctioneer_OnLoad' (a nil value) problem, which is preventing Auctioneer from working for me at all.

    Currently installed version is 3.1.0.0506, but I just downloaded 0512, and will try that when I get back home (I'm at work right now)

    I have tried renaming the WFB and WTF folders. I have tried removing everything from the Addons folder other than Blizzard's directories and the 5 directories from the Auctioneer package.

    So...no chance of corrupted save files, and no possibility of conflict with other addons.

    Still no luck - I get the error I mentioned every time - I have heard that some people have managed to get rid of this problem by reinstalling the game - it is almost as if Auctioneer corrupts a file in some other directory, but that just should not be possible.

    I had previously installed .0455 and it worked fine to begin with - converted my old database, I did an AH scan and everything was OK, until I logged out and switched alts - the first time I logged in with a new alt, I got this error, and I have gotten it every time since then.

    I have added a comment to ticket #232, which deals with this issue.

    Is there any information I can provide that might be of help in tracking down this problem ?

    A further comment: I tried the latest gamma version, but no change - Auctioneer is as unusable as before.

    One more bit of information. Enchantrix works fine, and Informant seems to work fine - however, if I type just /informant (with no arguments), I get an error - but the string is truncated so I only see the first part of it. I do get the list of Informant commands in the chat window...but the error popup bothers me - is there any chance it might be related to the Auctioneer problem, and is there any way for me to see the full error message?

    him my fave addon by far i must say

    anyway, have been tesing eth gamme version foir a few weeks, all was wroking perfect untill a few days ago, for no reason that i can see, the toolt tip stoped showing all auctioneer info, now only shows vendor sell prices ect.

    any ideas?

    Just installed the 526 gamma version, and everything seems to be working like a charm!

    I use Autobar (10.24.2005 version) and right now when I mouse over an item in the AB, a large tooltip box pops up, empty, but the width of the screen. Anybody know how to fix this?

    So I decided that my lvl 55 Priest with Herbalism and Alchemy needed to hit honored with the Thorium Brotherhood today.
    While I was waiting for various pieces of mail from alts so this dream could become reality, I decided to surf various WoW sites, and remembered that Auctioneer wasn't up to date yet with the patch on my UI.
    Found the link and downloaded your latest version and I must say it was well worth the wait. I had to create a username for this site just to say so. So many new features, so many great options....

    Norganna, would it be too awkward if I said that I loved you and I want you to have my children? lol

    Auctioneer is sucking up memory, which mean's it's probably leaking.

    I have seen it take anywhere from 144KB/s - 800KB/s. This is only with auctioneer running. Naturally this is causing wow to GC every minute or faster.. which is really annoying.

    Any plans to refine this issue?

    Also: When using the embed feature on either auctioneer or informat, you get double outputs. IE: Two of all the same info.

    I'm not having any mem leak problems with this gamma. I've posted before on these forums about this problem specifically and from all indications it seems that the leak has been fixed. I don't know what else to say other than this is the best auctioneer version yet. The mem footprint has even gone down that I can reduce my mem UI by as much as 10mb. Wow I'm impressed. Thanks for this and Keep up the good work!

    What version are you (and the other guy with the error message that posted before you) using? I'm using the 526 version and have no trouble at all. Also, what were you doing exactly when this particular error appeared?


    Edit: Also, there is a technical section that might be more suited for this conversation... I'm not sure that the error qualifies as news.

    I've narrowed it down to EnhTooltip causing the problem. Neither 526 or 544 works properly with Autobar or Trinket Menu, creating a blank tooltip the width of the screen and from the mouse pointer down.

    I am getting the same error, but Auctioneer has been partialy working for me ever sence I updated ct_raidassist. My only problem is with AH. I can no longer scan items, when I hover over items with mouse no info is dispalyed except when I am auctioning the item. And the info under the selling prices in AH no longer works either.

    I used to use the Auctioneer before 1.8 and have so far avoided using the Gamma versions but now I am really beginning to miss this wonderful mod. I just have to ask is there any expected date when a Release version might be out? or if it wont be out anytime soon then which gamma version is relativly stable to use?

    as the download page says, the gamma-versions should be ready for daily use....
