    Hi. Perhaps my question doesn't make any sense, as my understanding of BTM is rather muddled. Anyway, I cleared all the historical data my auctioneer had for my server/faction, and am now looking to do the same for BTM. I've tried /btm clear, but that only erases the history of the actions ive made in the btm window. I still see btm info in the tooltips of some items when i mouse over them. Is what I'm asking possible, or is my understanding of what BTM does just way off?
    Also, off-topic, i know, but is there a way to clear my historical auctioneer data from all the factions/servers i've collected info from with one command, or at least without logging on to my toons on other factions/servers? (Short of deleting my entire wtf file-same for any resolution to btm question.)

    Thank you all regardless.

    to clear everything, deleting the WTF is fastest (though you will also lose your settings). otherwise you do need to log onto one char in each realm-faction and "/auc clear all".

    i'm not sure what you're asking for BTM. BTM uses auctioneer price statistics (though i suppose it really depends what you have your baserule set to), so if you clear auctioneer, it will affect what BTM displays as well (for resale, and possibly d/e). vendor purchases will obviously be unaffected.

    Re: BTM tooltip prices: So I have cleared auctioneer data using clear all. I have no baserule as far as i know (never made one, when i type /btm baserule, window comes up blank.) Should BTM still be coming up with prices in an items tooltip? Some items have btm price data in them, some don't (though they all have vendor prices). For example, heres what tooltip shows for a 5xstack i have of Major healing pots:
    ==================
    Never seen at auction
    Buy 5 (40 each) 2g
    Sell 5 (10 each) 50s
    Stacks in lots of 5
    Sold by 5 merchants
    Class: Consumable potion
    Bottom Scanner Prices

    IQR Mean 3g 07s
    Conservative 2g 56s 85c
    Valuation (custom) 12g 84s 25c
    Auction fee 64s 21c
    Deposit cost 30s
    =====================

    So my questions are:
    where is btmscanner getting these prices from (since auct has no data now), and why is it only certain items that have btm info in them, and others have no prices shown in btm fields?

    Assuming there is no history for the item, then won't Auc use the vendor prices found in Informant? Also, the Baseline price never goes away. The default pricing options are such that if no history/snapshot info is found, the markup for an item is 300% (what is yours set at?). I suspect it is a combination of these things giving you an estimate value, but it is based on things other than AH history. Just a guess...
