I just started using auctioneer to look for items to disenchant for resale. I'm loving it so far! My issue is being new at this I dont quite understand the base rule thing and auctioneer only seems to be scanning items in the lvl 0-50 range. I think its great that I'm finding items I can make 50silver - 1g on but I'd love to be able to have it scan higher level stuff as well. Is there a place I can copy and paste some base rules for a newb like myself...some rules that will help me scan higher level stuff and with a higher disenchant value?
Guess I was hoping for some easy cut and paste type rules to use where I could just go in and add what I need into the code. I'll try to make sense of the "Creating a Baserule" page.
I was looking to disenchant items that return Illusion Dust and Arcane Dust and make a profit off those as there is never enough of those on my server...
You could use my disenchant rule and adjust down the prices for everything except the reagents you're interested in.
Enchantrix might do the trick too, by adjusting its "desirability" sliders for the different reagents, tho I don't think its database has been fully updated for TBC yet.
