I just installed gatherer and imported the wowhead database. Everything seems ok with the one problem being all I see in outlands is Fel Iron. There is no adamantite in the database at all as far as I can tell. I'm not sure if some of these fel iron nodes are supposed to be adamantite and are mismarked, or if they just aren't in the DB at all.
Pardon me, but I don't really know where Adamantite is located as I do not have a high level miner (as a matter of fact, since I've been coding this stuff, I don't actually even have any chars above level 60)
I suggest you have a look at Wowhead.com. If it doesn't have the nodes' locations on the maps, then it will not be in the database. This is an issue for Wowhead to fix in this case.
If Wowhead does have the locations on maps, then you can come and bug me. Say "Wowhead has these locations, but you do not, something must be wrong" :)
They are definitely in Wowhead *now*. They assuredly were not when I had generated the list last time... I have no way to back up this claim, but last time I was there, they only had Auchenai Crypts, Mana-Tombs, Sethekk Halls and Shadow Labyrinth listed, and since they were instances, I assumed that there just was no data for this object in the outside world (kinda like Ancient Lichen only appears in instances)
Anyhow, the point is now moot. The database has been updated with the new locations. Download it from the Gatherer Download page.
It was only about a week ago. Honest, there were no locations there! It's like there was a glitch with Wowhead or something. But for whatever reason, its back now, so I guess that's all that matters.
EDIT: I took the liberty of adding the Rich Adamantite Nodes to all Zones in the "DB_WowheadData.lua" file
PS: Nodes in "Isle of Quel'Danas" were ignored since a new category would need to be created & I didn't delve deep enough to determine how easy that would be.
PPS: I'm totally guessing this is going to work, presuming (for example) the Co-ords 80,7.6 would become 800076 then all is correct! :)
