Hey, i installed Gatherer and the GathererDB_wowhead... now i want to import the db.... well but there is no "Database"-button to import it... The how to do says: * Open Gatherer's configuration dialog. * Click on the red "Database" tab on the left-hand side of the dialog. * Click the import button in the main panel. there is no such Database tab on the left-hand side of the dialog..... is this because i'm using a new verion of gatherer?? is this just working with older versions?? Please help me!!
You must be using the current Gamma version of 2.99.0.0602 or later in order to see the new button. Prior versions are not compatible.
If you are using the correct version, then there must be something wrong with the install.
You should have the following directory structure: ...\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\Gatherer\Gatherer.toc, etc... ...\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\GathererDB_Wowhead\GathererDB_Wowhead.toc, etc...
Once you extract the new files, you must *completely* exit WoW, and restart it.
You may check that the AddOns are installed properly by checking the AddOns list on the Character selection screen just after you login but before you enter the world. Both the Gatherer and GathererDB: Wowhead entries should be visible in this list.
If this is what you currently have, then the files may not have extracted correctly. It is sometimes helpful to delete the ...\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\Gatherer\ and ...\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\GathererDB_Wowhead\ folders completely and re-extract them from a freshly downloaded zip file.
