    Hello All,

I'd just like to start by thanking everyone involved with this fantastic add-on. I've been using gatherer for years, and I think it has to be the most useful add-on anyone has developed for WoW, hands-down. Anyway, I was just wondering if it's now possible to manually add nodes to the database with the latest release version? I recently started playing a gnome for the first time recently and I noticed there does not appear to be any herbalism nodes for the dwarf/gnome starting area. I was just thinking if it's possible to add nodes manually, I could pull all the location data off of WoWHead and just script something to fill in the areas that aren't currently included. I was just curious if this was even possible.

If it is possible, I was wondering how the DB entries are formatted? I was looking at the DB in VisualStudio, but couldn't really make heads or tails of how the data is stored. Thanks again for such a great product.

    Have you tried GathererDB_Wowhead?
  2.
Sorry, I should've mentioned that fact. But, yes, I have imported the WoWHeadDB. I figured that would've been assumed. Sorry...

Hmm, that's strange then. What information are you seeing that Wowhead has, but has not been imported?

Basically what I'm saying is that we're already scanning and importing from Wowhead, so you don't have to. If there's a reason that you can get more info from Wowhead than we are, then that's a bug, and should be fixed, rather than making everyone have to do secondary scans of Wowhead.

Well, I checked Gatherer.lua and the strange thing is, the herbalism nodes are actually listed in the file. But, they're just not showing up on the mini-map or the world map. Before you ask, yes, I have my mini-map set to show nodes and my gatherer options are set to only show nodes on the mini-map and world map. So, I've got no idea what's going on... lol

I also forgot to mention that mining nodes and treasure nodes show up no problem...

What version of Gatherer are you using, and do you notice the same problems if you disable all addons, and only enable Gatherer.
  5.
Well, I'm using 2.99.0.0604. I'll check it with my other add-ons disabled...
  6.
Okay, I think I've got it tracked down... The problem seems to be the fact that I multi-box and that I'm running three accounts on one machine. Gatherer isn't displaying any nodes (Mining, Herbalism, Treasure) an either of my other two characters unless I actually gather the node. All of the nodes show up on my first account, but none of them show up on either of the other two unless a character actually gathers from the node. Hope that helps!

Hmm... That sounds like normal behavior for multiple accounts. Are your accounts all in the same guild?
  7.
Well, they aren't in the same guild, but I play them grouped together on the same machine... So, there's no way I can make it display on more than one screen on the same machine?

Well, if they're grouped, and you have raid sharing enabled, then they should be getting the nodes. Are you receiving notes like "Received gather of XYZ from Player"?
  8.
Yes, they are getting the nodes. That message does show up. The problem is the icons are only showing up for the second character after that character gathers the resource. I want to know if there is a way that I can make the icons show up on the mini-map and the world map for two characters on the same machine simultaneously.

I really don't understand your situation. You have multiple copies of wow running on the same computer at the same time?
  9.
Yes, exactly... I play three characters in a group. That way I never have to wait around to group with anyone and I complete quests alot faster. Most people refer to the practice as "multi-boxing," because they typically use multiple computers. My rig is fast enough, however, that I do it all on the same computer.
