    Do you need to divide the quoted mean Prospecting price for your single piece of ore by 5 because it takes 5 pieces to actually do the prospect?

    The answer is no, you do not need to divide. The evaluator does this for you.
    From EvalProspect.lua, line 81:
    yield = yield * item.count / 5
