    For those people who are not able to record ANY new nodes at all, please first make sure you have updated to version 3.0.1. If you are still having problems after that, please post in this thread with your Client Locale. If you are using the English client, please specify whether it is the US or EU client.

    Note: If you are sometimes able to record nodes, then this thread DOES NOT apply to you. This thread is only if you cannot record nodes AT ALL, under any circumstances.

    Note 2: If you post here, and do not follow the instructions of this post, expect to find your post has been deleted.

    I have tried 10+ nodes (both mine and herb) with the new version 3.0.1, but none of them is recorded. I am now use ZHTW client 2.2.2.7318.

    still no new node logging fer me with 3.0.1 US.
    I used the Wowhead updater also, wich takes forever to do its thing, and am still finding nodes it does not have, and Gatherer will not log.
    Tried with a fresh install and the data cleaned out completely, and still no logging of nodes.

    Please make sure you have our Swatter AddOn installed, http://www.auctioneeraddon.com/dl/?dl=Swatter/swatter-4.0.5.zip , and then run the following macro while you hold your mouse over an ore deposit or a herb node.
    /script error("UNKNOWN: '"..UNKNOWN.."'\nMouseover Unit Name: '"..UnitName("mouseover").."'\nLocale: '"..GetLocale().."'")
    This macro will generate an error message that you can then copy and paste into a reply post here. Thanks in advance.

    Have you checked to see if recording works with a clean Gatherer SV file and no other AddOns running?

    Thank you for your reply. I have done the test as you said, with all the addons disabled except Gatherer and Swatter, and old Gatherer SV files cleaned too. Following is the error message.

    The Chinese character '未知' means 'Unknown', and '未知目標' means 'Unknown Target'. I hold the mouse point over a Peacebloom. (The tooltip at right-bottom do shows, I promise.)

    Thanks for the reply itweb. This information will allow me to fix Gatherer for your locale. It figures that Blizzard didn't make this easy for us. :(

    I now see a pattern here. Any other locales having the same difficulty and want to post?

    Regardless, I will release 3.0.2 on Monday after I have had a chance to verify that everything is in working order.

    Can't record new nodes. I'm sorry but I'm a complete newb when it comes to addons. Here is the error I got when I moused-over a vein & ran the macro. I'm running 3.0.3.
