Hi all When I use enchantrix I buy stuff to de from the ah I go by the disenchant value(hsp) when looking for good buys, I also go through and update my prices on enchanting matz first. When I de the item the prices are way off, Why? like it says 2.5 dream dust value at 80s but when I de it I get 3 dust valued at 50s and if I payed 70s for the item I just lost 20s. I have this same problem with Bottem scanner, it pops a deal and I bite only to find that it is way over priced and cant sell it. Its wierd is it me ore some setting I'm not doing right?
I downloaded this 2 weeks ago, if I set fixed prices it wont take in acount market changes will it? And how do I do this, forgive me I'm new to this mod. I like it youve done a great job.
So are you saying we should be using the fixed prices if we plan to DE alot of items(which all i use auctioneer and enchantrix for)? I buy at least 100 items a day to DE if i should be using the fixed prices to get a better money making income please let em know! lol thanks.
There are a few times you should use fixed prices.
1) If the item is worth more/less to you than the current market price is indicating. 2) If you are DEing during the week to sell on the weekend.
There may be others, but this is basically why I use fixed prices. It's worth mentioning that you don't have to use fixed prices for everything, just the items you want to have a fixed value for.
I find that the market prices are accurate for most items, but there are a few types of dust that the market is absolutely saturated for. There are still a full range of high and low prices and the market price still averages in the middle, but because there are thousands of auctions you will never sell if you stick to the middle price. In these cases I try and find the highest price I can actually regularly sell things for and set the fixed price in Auctioneer at that and the one in Enchantrix to my bid price (so it's "At least this much profit"). I find this helps. I don't have to do it for most things though, mainly Vision Dust.
