I'm sorry to be spamming all of those who really couldn't care a less about what subversion is doing right at the moment, however I must inform those that do care about some structural changes that have occured in the subversion repository as part of the upgrades we are performing at the moment.

The essence of the changes that have been made are that Configator, DebugLib, SlideBar, !nLog, !Swatter, Babylonian, Stubby and LibTooltip have been migrated out of the Auctioneer repository and into their own repository at http://svn.norganna.org/libs/trunk.

This was done because even thought they are used primarily by Auctioneer, they are actually stand-alone libraries that do not exclusively belong to Auctioneer and some are even used in various other projects elsewhere.

As part of our migration, we are trying to neaten up the structure just a little bit so that our repository layout is more logical and this is one of the things that we had to do to accomplish that end.

will the libs be kept in the auctioneer/trunk or will they stay only in libs ?

library addons have already been removed from the auctioneer branch, and are only available in libs.

so this will also be reflected in the mod package ( <WoW>\Interface\Adds\… ) structure ? if so.. this leads to a meta name for collection to distinguish these libraries from others ?

hmm, it appears they were not removed from the read-only SVN. I'll double check to see if that was intentional.

meow: now quite sure i'm following you. the ZIP packages should remain as they are now. this only affects folks using the SVN to grab dev builds.

No, actually... It appears that the read-only copy is not synching... different problem. I'll see what's wrong, and fix it.

Ok, I found what was wrong. I stuffed up the crontab entry and was calling sync.sh instead of sync.pl... How embarrassing! Anyhow, it's fixed now. Thanks for letting us know :)

    meow:
The libs are actually embeddable, and get embedded into the addons when the package builder does it's thing.
As dinesh stated, this change really only affects people who use the SVN to keep up-to-date.

I was thinking along the lines of
    <WoW>\
    Interface\
    AddOns\
    <name>-Auc-Advanced
    <name>-Auc-Filter-Basic
    <name>-Auc-ScanData
    <name>-Auc-Stat-Simple
    <name>-Auc-Stat-StdDev

    <name>-BtmScan

    <name>-Enchantrix
    <name>-Enchantrix-Barker

    <name>-EnhTooltip

    <name>-Gatherer
    <name>-GatherDB_Wowhead

    <name>-Informant

    <name>-Lib\
    !nLog
    !Swatter
    Babylonian
    Configator
    DebugLib
    LibTooltip
    Slidebar
    Stubby

where <name>- is something common to all ... I initially thought of N, Norg or Norganna ... but wasn't sure it was the most appropriate prefix.
Auc doesn't work since not all are Auctioneer based (and Auc-Auc-Advanced etc looks a stutter)

one of the reasons .. was so all the related mods could be easily identified in the AddOns folder
currently collections like Atlas, CT, Cartographer, Fu, Titan etc tend to be grouped together.

Yes, it's part of the migration that we're doing at the moment.

For the meantime (until we get the full system setup), you can use the new bits at: http://fisheye.norganna.org our new fisheye (repository viewer) +crucible (peer code review tool) site. We have also have a jira (issue tracker) site being setup at http://jira.norganna.org which will probably be finished tomorrow sometime.

You can currently login to fisheye using your forum account details, however logging into jira is not yet possible, but you can look around a little.
