    I've just installed today's preview of Advanced Auctioneer. As nice as it is, I can't use it.
    I need to see the deposit cost in the tooltip from the Search Auctions tab.
    I only started making real money when I took deposit cost into account before deciding to buy something.
    If there is a hidden option somewhere, please let me know, I've tried all the options I could find.

    actually, i think he's asking for the deposit to be shown in the tooltip. i think there is a JIRA issue for this already, but if not you can add one.

    i would think that whatever code it is to show the deposit info on the slidebar and tooltip is the same?

    nope. the tooltip is defined separately, and right now we are not putting deposit on the tooltip iirc.

    Sorry, but I'm a bit of a noob in this regard.

    If the Deposit isn't listed on the tooltip (like it used to be), where is it listed?

    I, too, use the Search function to figure out what I want to buy, based upon what the Deposit is in great part. Do I have to wait to learn what the Deposit is until after I make the purchase or use a different source for this information?

    I really liked the information shown in the tooltip. I hope there's a comparable solution.

    I don't know the exact cost, but it's something around 50% of vendor sales price, a little more I think. You can roughly guess it that way since Vendor sales price is in the tooltip.

    Well, it's not too difficult to get a good idea of the Deposit cost, then.

    You were right, Froz; based on Dinesh's link, the rule of thumb is a little over half, or 60% of the Vendor Value for a 48hr auction. For the 24hr auction, it's half that, of course.

    I do hope we simpletons get the Deposit back in the tooltip. It'll be tolerable if we don't, though. I just appreciate the hard work you guys put into creating and maintaining this wonderful addon.
