    no plan for that at the moment, beside Gatherer is pretty much in use all the time since it updates the minimap every 0.25 seconds (the only place where it really is no use is in instances but since there's no unload on demand yet).

    but the characters without herb or mining may not want to load the addon at all.
    if i manually add the LoadOnDemand flag in .toc file, will it make gatherer unstable?

    since you have the ability to record herb and ore even if you don't have the gathering skills on a character they may want to have it active to record stuff they pass by (which is how I used it for a long time before I respecced my main char to engineering) and everyone loves treasures

    no idea (no time to look at how this works exactly atm, which is why there's no plan for it right now among other things).
    Depending on how the load on demand mechanism works exactly, there's a chance that it won't load at all (remember we're not dealing with something that you call up here, it's always on).
