I'm using AA and AC together, but I'm not sure I've installed them corectly such that the functionality of one isn't impaired by the other. I also haven't been getting rid of my old interface/addon folders when I install a new build. I'm going to reinstall and do that first. My question though is as to whether or not there is an order that they should be installed. I.e., do I install AC and then AA? Or vice versa? It seems that the last time I installed a new build the installation was asking permission to overwrite files that I think belonged to the other program. Perhaps I'm wrong but can anyone enlighten me please? Thanks a bunch!
AA and AC share some of the other folders (like EnhTooltip) but the versions they use are _exactly_ the same. So as long as you make sure the Version numbers of AA and AC that you are installing are the same then it shouldn't matter what order you do it in.
Definitely delete the old directories first though, especially if you haven't done it for a while.
Thank you very much for the answer. I appreciate it. I think my major concerns were Enchantrix and BottomScanner. See, I used to install AA, then I'd install the old Auctioneer and its BTM would overwrite the one in AA. I preferred the old one because I had baserules that worked perfectly for me and I could never get the newer BTM to scan properly and show me deals. But now the old BTM no longer works from what I understand, and so I've buckled down and am trying to get the new one configured. Along with the new Auctioneer period. :) Thanks again!
