My main is a 375 miner, & I only have my tracking set to only track Fel Iron, Adamantite, & Rich Adamantite veins, to only keep track of how many times I have farmed a node, & to only show up on my mini & world map. My gatherer when active on him uses about 9-16mb of memory. Seems a bit high is there anything I can do to keep the same tracking, but to lower the memory usage?

I am also noticing that with Gatherer DB, When i locate a node that hasn't been opened by me yet, that when I do open it, that I will end up with two of the same nodes on that point, one showing up as red, the other in gray. What I would like to do, but I am not sure how to do so, is the nodes that I have seen & mined/herbalised remove the red ones, to keep my working ones. Or to delete all nodes that I have located & but keep all of the treasure chest node locations as I find it helpful to see where they are in a location I might be farming.

About the memory usage, I wouldn't worry about that. With a full WowHead DB installed, I wouldn't be surprised if that is a normal number.

Is the new node in the exact same spot as the old red one, or is it slightly shifted? If it is slightly shifted then this result is not surprising as the WowHead data is generally somewhat inaccurate, and thus Gatherer isn't always able to match what you just harvested to a node from Gatherer DB.
