    Hi

I have been using older (that doesn't use load-on-demand) version of auctioneer for a quite some time. I liked it and was fully satisfied with it, but after 1.8 patch it lost some of it's features (like "Scan" button). so i've got a new version of it, together with Informant, Enchantrix, EnhTooltip and Stubby. I started to experience a brief (0.5-1sec) delay after each operation with items - looting, receiving mails, switching weapons etc. While new features are amazing, this 0.5-1sec interface lag is very annoying - while i can live when it lags on getting attached item from a letter, i even can live when it lags on looting items from mining, though it's very noticeable, but as a warrior i switch weapons often - and that lag makes the switch horrible, influencing both pvp and pve. I tried to disable Auctioneer, Informant etc - but the lag still exists. It disappears only when i disable Stubby, that is main dependency for them all. I like the Auctioneer/Enchantrix/Informant pack, but if that interface lag will continue to appear, i will be forced to give up using them. Is there a way to fix that? Would be very grateful for any responces.

Hmm, that makes no sense, because by itself Stubby does absolutely nothing after startup.
I've looked into claimed delay problems with Stubby before, but I can't find any evidence to support it, nor a theoretical cause

I have a couple guesses. First of all, what is your script RAM set to and how much RAM does your computer have? It seems like to me that it is loading the information from disk which takes a second because it has to seek to it instead of having it all preloaded in the RAM. Also, have you defragmented your hard disk recently which also could be causing the slow down.

I got 1gb ram and 60 mb script ram.
I have one more guess. I was using AutoBag addon to arrange items. Probably, when doing any item operation, that addon was moving items, that triggered informant and auctioneer to rebuild the tooltip for each item every time. I got EngInventory addon, and lag ceased. It can still be noticeable sometimes though.
