I'm trying out the preview auctioneer bundle and when I try to post a second item/stack for auction I can't I can only assume that's a glitch in the programming I even made a screenshot as proof but can't send it to the programmers to show them what's going on, also I can't put bids or buy outs after putting anything up for auctions.
it is I downloaded the preview copy of the auctioneer suite which included enchantix, bottomfeeder and beancounter, I uploaded the screenshot showing the create auction button not lit up and that was the second item I was trying to auction.
I am guessing here (as I have experienced similar) without seening a screenshot.
Assumes 100 in stock of a 20 stack item. initial settings.
Stack size: Max Post Qty: ALL
1st Post. Change this to allow partial posting. Stack size: 3 Post Qty: 90
This will post perfectly as the 90 divides by 3 cleanly.
2nd Post: Stack size: 3 Post Qty: 3 (unchanged by you, but changed by appraiser based on current stock)
This will post 9, but because the division can't me made... it wont post the "left over"
If the setting was changed to: Stack size: 3 Post Qty: ALL It would attempt to post ALL in stack sizes of 3, then post any remainder in stacks of 1 - this clearing your inventory
link for upload: http://norganna.org/up/?view=KYjXKi/WoWScrnShot_021308_113803.jpg, and this is on anything I put on the AH after the first item, wither it's one item or a stack of an item.
You are using an old version of AucClassic, which will have massive bugs.
Please note that AucAdvanced uses the "Appraiser" tab to post, not the "Post Auctions" tab
To fix your problem, please go to your addons folder, and delete the "Auctioneer" folder. If you still want the Classic style interface, go to http://auctioneeraddon.com/dl/#preview, and download the Classic Suite, which you can install. Please note that if running both Classic and Advanced, both need to be running the same version, so you might want to download and install the current Advanced Suite at the same time, just to be sure.
(FYI, deleting folders in Addons will not affect your saved data, as that is stored in WTF)
Also, Advanced's options are accessed either via the "Configure" button on the Appraiser tab, or by the coin pile icon on the Slidebar (which hides below the minimap - a semi-transparent yellow tab)
I tried the Appraiser to put items in the Auction House but it would have an error. here's the uploaded screenshot link. http://norganna.org/up/?view=TGM3Jh/WoWScrnShot_022808_123846.jpg
It should have also flashed something on the screen, explaining why it had an issue posting it. Most likely cause is that the item needs repairing. (I have an addon that auto-repairs all items whenever I visit a vendor that can repair - very useful)
well I usually repair before I go to the Auction House and as for something flashing on the screen are you talking about the WoW error message? if so I've been getting several regarding all the addons not just the Auctioneer suite but I get at least 3 of those when I open the auction screen, upload an item/stack to auction and scan.
Yep, you need to either update to AucClassic or get rid of Auc 4.0.5 altogether.
If you update to AucClassic, you need to update both it and AucAdvanced at the same time with the same version, since your AucAdvanced is also out of date. In your case, I'd just do a clean install and remove ALL Auctioneer related AddOns and reinstall from scratch to avoid any chance for error.
You may also want to check your other AddOns, you likely have outdated ones there too. The first error is a Metamap one and is probably fixed in a more recent build.
As Deckard said, you need to get rid of Auc4. If you still like the interface Auc4 used, download AucClassic.
While you're doing that, please also update AucAdv to the current (2887) build. (checking that addon list in future errors for any auctioneer revision numbers less than the number on the download page will save time, both for you and for us)
