I had a version prior to this, unfortunately I don't remember the version number. It worked wonderfully as Auctioneer usually does. However, it started displaying LUA errors everytime I opened the Auction House window (again, I don't remember the specifics on the error). So I decided to update it with 2823. Now with 2823, I don't get any errors, but I lose all the price data everytime I log out. I have to rescan the AH everytime I play which does not produce accurate statistics.
Are there any known possible causes for my Auctioneer's amnesia? And more importantly, are there any know remedies?
I'm apparently an idiot and apologize. I didn't realize the newer version defaults to Neutral AH data if you're in contested territory. There is a setting to turn that off, thank god. I don't know who came up with that idea.
I think it's set to that by default because if you're in a zone with a neutral AH, it assumes you want the neutral AH pricing info. You can have it show both neutral and home faction pricing in the tooltip as well.
it's not so much that it assumes you want that data as that pricing is dramatically different on the neutral AH, so we can't comingle data collected from it with faction data.
To add to this the option automatically disabled itself anytime you open an ah / re-enables itself when you leave, that way there is no cross contamination of data... So you can't actually be at the neutral ah and see home data at the same time. There does need to be some method of seeing home faction data while AT a neutral AH but alas... currently there is not...
