I think it would be usefull to include the auctionfilterplus functions to auctioneer... many users use autioneer and auctionfilter together, but auctionfilterplus author is very inactitive, so we have often bugs with this mod...
also auctionfilterplus hase some very nice features who would be very nice for auctioneer... like show items with bid, show 5 stack, show 10 stack, show 20 stack, show price per item, show best etc.
If you want it, add it to JIRA. (I'd suggest that this might be best as a separate module - Auc-Util-AuctionFilter - rather than incorporated into the core of AucAdvanced)
Edit: this would actually be best if Dsanai wrote it himself as an AucAdv module. Have you suggested it to him?
have he given any feedback if he will make the module?
edit: i have seen your post at curse.. i think there is no chance that Dsanai will make an module.. because there is a big chance that he is inactiv or has quited wow... so is the question will auctioneeer develop (or migrate old auctionfilterplus) an own module ..?
I'd give him at least a week to see the comment and reply, especially as he hasn't given any indication that he's stopping development.
At any rate, anybody can create an AucAdv module (there's already Auc-Util-BigPicture which is quite nice), so even if neither Dsanai nor we take on the task, I expect one of AuctionFilterPlus's fans will take it on.
The feature I miss most from AuctionFilterPlus is the ability to suppress items you can't use or can't afford. Is this something that can be requested for Auctioneer Advanced? How would I go about doing that?
Ahh I must have forgotten about the usable option...I'm back to WoW after a several month break and it's weird what I do and do not remember :)
Will you have to type in the reserve price? With AFP you could just check a box and it would suppress any auctions you didn't have enough gold to bid or buyout on.
the usable option is fairly recent. It's possible it wasn't there when you left.
The reserve price you'll have to type in manually in the options, but the default is 1c, so it will still prevent items you can't afford from appearing in the results
