Before 3049, I always had 'Stack Size Maximum' and 'Number All'

Now my stack size and number vary depending on item, apparently from some preset options.

Is there an option that I'm missing that goes back to auction everything in maximum stack size possible?

Or will I actually have to set that manually on everything? -.-

In the Appraiser settings I have default stack size as "max", default number of stacks as "maxplus"

But it's doing the ACTUAL settings semi-randomly, especially on trade goods.

You'll have to set it manually for each, but the setting will be remembered.
  1.
So default stack size and default number of stacks are pointless settings? =/

They do work for new items (in my experience) but I still come across the occasional item I haven't seen for a while that I have to fix the settings on.
I've always assumed that I sold them that way in the distant past, before 48 hour auctions existed, and just can't remember.
I have no way to actually verify this though...
I can see that it's correctly using my defaults for the 2 new items I have on me at the moment.

Hmmm... Currently new items seem to be working and _most_ other items are working, but a few seem to misbehave.
My arcane dust seems stuck in stacks of 1 even after I change it...
Needs further investigation, I can't be sure what's happening.
(It didn't use to do this either...)
Thortok, do you have any further information possibly?

I have got the Same problem!!

This is definitely a very annoying bug. Appraiser is stealing my time! I have to check every item in the appraiser list, which item stack size is correct and which not. There are severals that never change. Appraiser doesn´t remember them!!

I change STack size from 10 to 20, trhen make a batch post. the next day, this item is again listed at 10 stacks, so whats up!? I´ve 300+ running auctions each day and i have to check every one itself. Stealing ALOT OF TiME. So i hope you fix that very very annoying mistake, but for the next days i will use mass auction which works fine for me... :(

we think this might be a batch post issue. is everyone having this problem using batch posting?

Draganos: we are not stealing anything from you - we are giving you a valuable mod for free. Please try to control your indignation while you're here asking us for free support from our free software.

    @dinesh:

sure, I didn´t want to criticise you or Auctioneer, it´s Great!

But this Bug destroys the intention of Appraiser, that is what I wanted to say. Nothing bad about your work! Keep it up ;)

Draganos, have you checked to make sure that your savedvariable files aren't somehow read-only?

    shame on me... :(

I have already checked the files, their attributes were fine.
But the folders attributes were read only...

I suggest this could correspond to the "Photek UI" I downloaded some days ago. There you have to delete WTF and Addons folders and Extract them from the PhotekUI.rar. So, these Folders were both read only, after extracting.

So, as i Said: Shame on me and keep up your great work, which now seems to work properly for me again .

Just so you're aware, deleting the WTF folder will delete all of your saved data for all addons - no exceptions

Nono, the I didn´t like the UI, so I recovered all my Files. Of course I did a backup before deleting the folders.

Just checked Appraiser, everything works fine now. :)

    Glad to hear it Draganos.

Thortok, what seems to be happening with me is...

If I start a batch post with say 1 Arcane Dust at a time and notice that it's going so slow (because I meant it to be 4) I change it to 4, but because it's still finishing off the batchpost of the 1s it puts the settings back to that...

It _seems_ to be behaving better if I completely stop batchpposting and then change things.

Would this possibly be what is happening with you?

    Sorry, I was on vacation.

I don't use batch post. I use 'post items'. (I don't even know what batch post does, I don't use it...)

Pre-3049, I had the settings "max" and "maxplus" like in the first post.

After 3049, I find that items that I have auctioned pre-3049 were selecting their own stack size. This was especially the case with trade goods. Potions, for example, were selling individually instead of max and maxplus, like I want. Rep turnin items were splitting into smaller stacks of 20.

This is great and all...except I want max and maxplus. And it was actually set that way pre-3049. I've auctioned the same item and everything I auction is max and maxplus, without exception. Everything that goes in the AH is under that setting. I completely ignore the options that allow anything except max and maxplus.

So after 3049, I find items suddenly on other settings. I have to manually check and change anything that's not on the default settings. I haven't checked if those are remembered.

I do see there's a new version in my absence, I hope this bug was fixed in the new version. ^_^

We did find a stacksize related bug.
It mostly seems to be a problem with batch posting, but it _may_ have fixed your issue as well.

If it still happens let us know. (Let's hope it's all ok though!)

(It'd be good if you can repeat the problem, set the same item to what you want on multiple logins and have play up multiple times.)
  2.
I think it's fixed for now, however some items' settings that got 'altered' need to be reset back to max/maxplus. But for the most part, most things are defaulting to max/maxplus, so that's good. ^_^

You guys rock, awesome at bug fixing.
  3.
Rugged Leather and Thick Leather are defaulting to 'full' instead of 'all'. Even when I change it, it's back to 'full' when I log in.
