I have been using AA for about 3 or 4 months now and like most everyone else I love it.

I am having a problem with items not showing up in the Appraiser screen. When I scan for the same item in the normal browse window, it will show all 27 auctions, but when I click the refresh button in the appraiser screen it filters out 21 of the items just showing 6 instead of all 27.

Anyways I have included 2 screen shots.

    Thanks for any help. :)

those uploads are way too small to read. you can use up.norganna.org if you'd like.

i'm guessing the 21 auctions being filtered are either:
    * getting removed by the outlier filter
    * getting removed by some user ignores you added

Sorry about that, I cropped some new images. It should be clearer now.

I retried scanning with appraiser again this morning with the same results. So I first tried removing just the Btmscan.lua file from the SavedVariables folder and logged on to WOW, again same results. So I logged out and removed all of the other Auc-xxx.lua files as well and tried it again, this time success! It is not filtering and I can see all of the iems in the appraiser view.

Even when I go in to the Appraiser Configure screen and uncheck the “Enable use of the Basic filter” under both of the Filter Modules it doesn’t change anything. What could it be?

Let me know if you need more screenshots or more clarification.

it could be the outlier filter, though those prices are too close, I wouldn't guess that would be the case. have you ignored specific sellers in the past? perhaps the option to enable/disable the basic filter isn't disabling properly.

those are my two best guesses right now.

First I want to saw thanks for helping me out here dinesh. I really appreciate it.

I got it to work! It looks like there are possibly a couple problems here.

First I moved all my “Cap growth to:” 1000% (I usually keep them all at 100%, and like you said it shouldn’t have made a difference considering how close all the number where.)
Next I refreshed the Appraiser view and success! nothing was being filtered.
Then I went ahead and set all my Caps back to 100% and tested it again to see if it would still work properly, and again success. nothing was being filtered.
I even exited the game and logged back in to make sure it was still working with the filter Cap set at 100%, and it looks like it is fixed for good now.

So it looks like before when everything was capped at 100% it was filtering items that where above about 1 gold piece on an item that was Market valued at about 66 gold.
Also when I unchecked the “Enable use of the Outlier Filter” either in order to make it take effect I needed to click Done on the Appraiser Configure window (which I didn’t) or it is not working properly.

Edit: Oh slap, I just figured out part of the puzzle. The 100% Cap is not 100% over the current marcket value. It caps it at the current market value, so I need to set my filter at 200%.

I was just about to respond saying that capping at 100% will cap you at the market value, so only those under the market value will show up, but it looks like you just figured that out, and how to get the setting you're looking for. Thanks for posting back!
