    Hi, i'm a little stuck with my auctioneer and would like some help if i may please.

    I first got the auctioneer package about one year ago and i used to make quite alot of money from scanning the auction house, buying the cheap in demand items, then selling them on for a profit as you do. Since i reached level 70 about 7 months ago i did not have the need to make money so i stopped buying and selling off the AH. Now with my 3 characters raiding its becoming very expensive. So i thought i would try out the auctioneer again as i knew it would be an efficient way of me making money again. So i had the auctioneer advanced and i found that every time i scan the AH hardly any items appear in the search tab compared to what they used to. I scanned once this morning. I set the buyout on the search tab to 20g profit and only one item appeared. I checked the AH manually to see if any items on the AH were in that 20g bracket and there were loads. When i used to scan it would come up with alot of items in the 20g+ profit region. So anyway i decided to delete all my variables and auctioneer files and then download an earlier version of auctioneer from when roughly i would have downloaded it originally. I found that this did not work either.

    Is there any help i could have please as to how i can scan the AH with items actually appearing in my list? or am i doing something wrong.

    If you downloaded AucAdvanced, and are using the "Search Auctions" tab, something is wrong. You probably still have a very old (and very broken) copy of Auctioneer still running.

    Please follow the instructions in the FAQ (either AucAdvanced or AucClassic FAQ) for clearing out old files/folders from your Interface\Addons folder, then reinstall AucAdvanced.

    In place of the "Search Auctions" tab, AucAdvanced uses the SearchUI, which can be found on the slidebar (by default hiding under the minimap on the right side of the screen)

    edit: also, AucAdv uses the "play" style controls at the top to control the scan with.

    okey, i have tried your suggestions and i am finding it is still not working. On the search tab i changed it to 2g profit buyout. Now this should bring up loads of items. I received about 30-40 white items, 5 green and one blue. No epic. This is very wierd and i dont have a clue how to fix it. Any ideas?

    maybe you don't have enough info yet to get accurate prices? if it is finding items then it must be working correctly. perhaps all the items at that time are over priced so they are not good deals according to your settings?

    XPipe,

    When you say Search Tab do you mean the SearchUI, accessed via the magnifying glass icon on the SlideBar, as noted by RockSlice?

    If you have gone through and cleaned out your old Auctioneer Classic install, when you visit the AH, there should no longer be a Search Tab along the bottom of the AH window.

    Can you clarify that for us?

    Sorry the tab is called 'Search Auctions'. This is on the advanced/classic suite. I then select buyout on the drop down menu. Then from there i enter 20g and all that seems to come up is 30-40 white items, 5 greens and 1 blue. About 7 months ago i used to scan every day and each day there would be hardly and whites, mostly blues and epics. That is just not the case anymore and i cant fix it. I have also got up to date variables from my friend so this wont be the problem.

    Do you guys have any other suggestions?
