i have been using auctioneer since the beginning

    1) when i scan using aadv then use the searchui almost all my results are old...i will try to buy an item and it says the auction is nonexistent...is there a way to purge all the old results?

2)my scans never go much above 30 auc/sec unless and this is weird...if i aadv scan then ac scan then my scans per second jump to 80 auc/sec...what would cause this?

for making money...i rarely use aadv as the search results are very messed up...the stats i see from aadv for items is very useful, but i'd like to wean myself off ac and move completely to aadv...so if there's a way to fix my searchui results it would be much appreciated

3)what is the buy first button in search results of searchui?

1- searchUI uses the Auc-ScanData database i believe, so you can kill that from out of game if needed, but I am suspicious that that is the problem. The next release should have a much improved SearchUI, though I am not positive that all the standalone searchers are actually working quite yet.

2- that is normal. the first pass through, we have to do a lot of seller name lookups, which happens asynchronously with pulling all the other AH info. And unfortunately, blizzard just put a very slow cap on how often we can do this lookup now. So the first time through it is slower, because we have to pause every 50 (?) auctions to wait to be able to look up more names. Then, once you've done it once, we cache the lookup, so the second time has very few seller lookups.

3- Not positive - I know rock just redid some of the buttons (again, which you'll see in the next release).

    1) AucAdv will only remove an item from the snapshot if it is missed on two full scans, to make sure it isn't removing something that's still there, so you might want to do two scans in a row. (or try the /aadv getall command, which does the whole AH in one fel swoop - Warning: mileage may vary)

    2) This is because of the name request queuing that Blizzard put in recently. Only so many names per second can be requested from the server, and AucAdv waits for the names to populate. Classic doesn't as much. Also, once the names are cached, future scans during the same session should go a lot faster

    3) The "Buy First" button in SearchUI will buy or bid the first result on the sheet, based on the "reason" column. If you are confident that the searcher you're using won't have any bad data, you can just click that button repeatedly to buy everything.
