I am not sure where to post this but I had in the tooltip, at the bottom, "Last purchased for: resale (or disenchant, etc)" and the purchase amount. I don't see it anymore after I updated and I want it back. How can I get this to show again?
that will only show up if you purchase something through the searchui or btm. if it isn't showing up when you use either of those are you perhaps getting a error somewhere? if you stack items that line will also disappear.
I am not getting an error and I am not doing anything any differently, just no longer seeing it. There must be a setting I am missing. I really like having that there without going to the beancounter window and trying to figure out which was the last one I bought. I don't understand most of this stuff but I managed to accumulate over 25,000g plus the thousands I spend on anything I want in the game using Auctioneer. I have so much I can't spend it all. lol Great tool!
and is it just some items which don't show it, in particular stackable items? I'm not positive that this is true for the searchUI tooltip, but for the BTM tooltip in particular, it will only display if the stack size is identical to what was purchased. if you later combine or break down the stack, the tooltip will no longer display for that item.
I scan with bottomscanner on using resale and appraiser filters set for a 50% discount, item seen count of 10, and min. profit of 2g and still compare it to wowecon global price and base my decision to buy on that. I usually only buy armor and weapons so stacking isn't the problem.
Funny thing just happened...I signed in to WOW and ran a scan and NOW the tooltip is showing "last bought for resale...". I don't know what I did but it's working now. I did fiddle with some BTM settings.
I had turned off the "Show data in tooltip" trying to figure out how to view the bottom of the tooltip because sometime it is so big I can't read what's there.
