Wondering if its possible to have things that are sold from a vendor ignored when scanning? IE. Coarse thread. As i use another mod that access the auctioneer data(lilsparkysworkshop) and is using the ah value of these items over the much lower vender cost.
how exactly do you do that? Ive always just used auctioneer to help with posting items up and being able to see what the competitions prices are in the post screen. I'm unsure about what i need to do to ignore an item. Ignoring those items is perfectly fine by me. :D
well i can show you my littlesparky its not checking that it shows in the cost to make section the AH cost of the item shows coarse thread 30g which is annoying more than anything.
i have to apologize i think i was thinking about something else at this time i do not think there is any way to manually add a item for a ignore filter either.
If you go into your Appraiser settings, in the AuctioneerAdvanced settings panel, under Utilities- ensure that "alt+click and item to show in the Appraiser window" ( or something like that) has a check in the check box.
Now, go to a vendor and grab some of the more common items that you use. - Visit one of your local auction houses and right click the auctioneer so that the Auctioneer window opens. - Click on the Appraiser tab, from the tab along the bottom of the window. - Open your bags and Alt+Click one of those common crafting items. -- That crafting item will now be shown in the Appraiser Window - Enter either the standard vendor price in the "pricing" box or a reasonable price for any "rare", vendor sold recipes, in the upper part of the middle frame. Note that the pricing model for that item will change to "Fixed".
From now on, all of those items' prices will be set at the price you input, so this should no longer be an issue.
The reason we do not auto-ignore all items available from the vendors is that many of those "rare", limited quantity items are actually pretty valuable on most servers- even those that are quite common.
There are many people who use Skillet, along with the lil' Sparky Branch, for the same type of pricing, so this helps dramatically.
