    Just a quick note,

I started messing around with Appraiser tonight and it was working wonders for me for about thirty minutes.
And then, it decided to start posting the maximum number of any item I was interested in auctioning.

I would tell it to auction 1 stack of 1 item. So let's say I tried auctioning just ONE peacebloom.
Instead of putting just 1 stack of 1 Peacebloom up.. it would put up every peacebloom I had in odd varying stacks..

    1 Stack of 3 Peaceblooms
    1 Stack of 4 Peaceblooms
    1 Stack of 1 Peaceblooms

That's what it would put up for auction. Anyways, I checked the number of items I was putting up for auction and the number of stacks I had it set at.
I kept putting the meters down to one, but each time it would put up all quantities of an item I was listing.
I also went in and told it to only allow 1 stack of 1 item to be the default selling process in the options.

I even did the 'Pretend' Batchposting and it would show that it was going to post all the quantities of an item.

Any idea what's going on here or if I'm doing something incorrect?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

i just tested posting single stacks and had no issues. I am using the dev version, not the current release version, but i can't think of any change made which would have caused this problem from previous versions, then fixed it.

can you blow away your install and redownload please? and if the problem persists, grab some screenshots? possibly it's just peculiar to your particular set of sittings and appraiser interface choice.

I believe I am using a "preview" version of Advanced Auctioneer which I just downloaded about a week ago.
Yes, I can certainly get rid of it and redownload, but since I assume I will have to redownload the whole Advanced Auctioneer package, I want to wait till Monday or so.

I will give Appraiser another go tonight.

    Thanks for your assistance!

    Dinesh,

Just wanted to let you know that whatever I had going on has cleared up... or whatever I was doing wrong I stopped doing.

One quick question, since I upgraded to AA 5.0, my deposit amount no longer shows when I hover over an item. I have the box checked so that the deposit amount should show in the item information, but it doesn't.
    Any suggestions on this one?

    Thanks again!

Ignore that last post, I figured out what was going on.

    Thanks!

This happened to me as well just now. I told it to list 9 stacks of copper in singles at 49.99, and instead it listed all of them in one stack at some random price which made no sense at all. This is with the very latest version, downloaded earlier today after the 3.02 patch broke my Classic.

Don't like this "Advanced" thing at all. :(

you need to take the time to check your settings. making the change from classic to advanced is very different. but if you take the time and actually read what you are changing/settings it will make sense.

so if you were posting 9 copper ore at 49s 99c 1 at a time you had your sliders set to stack size 1, post max (bottom slider in appraiser pane) and price was set to 49s 99c correct? remember you set your prices for 1 item not the stack as you did with classic.

Yes, I did exactly the same thing with three items, with differing results:

Snowballs - Refused to list, button was greyed, had to do them manually.
Heavy Stone - Worked as expected.
Copper - They were listed as a single stack, at 6g and change.

    Fulvio:

Keep in mind that there may be bugs that need fixing in Advanced, due to the recentness of the patch, and that there's at least one bug on Blizzard's end that we're aware of but can't do anything about. We'll definitely look into the random behavior, as it isn't what we want it to be doing.
