i have a problem with informant since i downloaded auctioneer 5.0.pre.3471. impossible to view the tooltip that informant is supposed to add.
for exemple in http://mediabeta.curse.com/Curse.Projects.ProjectImages/89/71/auctioneer-auctioneer092enchantrix092informant-toolitip.jpg i see nothing except the Blizzard's window ...
i tried to re-download the add on, to disable everything except informant in the character select window, /reload ui, / auctioneer load, to reset it but no way ...
also when i try /informant it writes "TextUsage"
can someone have a solution ? thank you

A few items:

- In order for Auctioneer or Informant to function, you also need to enable Enhanced Tooltip and Stubby as well.
- Version 3471 is quite outdated, please update to the 5.0 release - available from http://AuctioneerAddOn.Com/dl and follow the instructions at http://Wiki.Norganna.Org/Installing to ensure you have removed any old folders that could be causing issues.
- One related question, are you on a non- enUS realm? The most recent changes to the suite have not been localized for other regions, so some may work- others not so much.

We plan to have the entire suite localized for all regions in version 5.2 and will post a message on the main http://AuctioneerAddOn.Com when we are ready to begin the translation process.

Just to make sure, you're no longer running the above-mentioned package, but rather the 5.0 release, correct? 5.0.pre.3471 is an old preview release, which is what's made us tell you to update.

The next step would be to check a few things in game. Make sure you have the check-boxes ticked for the statistics you want to see in the tooltip in the Auc Advanced configuration. Also open the Informant/EnhTT config and make sure that it's configured appropriately.

If everything there looks right, I'd suggest, as mentioned above, that you download the package again, from us (even if you've already done so), and follow the linked instructions above to do a clean install of Auctioneer to make sure there are no conflicting files.

I have the 5.0 release from http://AuctioneerAddOn.Com/dl. I tried to delete all the previous files of auctioneer and extracting the 5.0 files into the add on file. In game, I ticked almost everything in the Auc Advanced configuration.
I don't know about Informant/EnhTT config because i can't see it : on the bar there is swatter, auction searchUI, beancounter, automagic, auctioneer advanced (no informant) and when i type /informant it says "TextUsage" in blue
