I've been using SearchUI for a little while now with good success. Sometimes I'll buy 100 items, hitting "Bid" or "Buyout" on each (I tend not to use purchase)

Then we get the pop up for each item confirming whether I want to buy / bid

Is there a way to skip this step and have it automatically accept the buy / bid when I hit the first button?

I know the no-bots rule, and I'm not talking about building a bot. I've already manually clicked on buy or bid ... is that good enough for blizzard? And if yes, is there an option to turn off the confirming pop ups OR something that can be commented out in the code?

I've seen "Power user setting: One Click Buying - skip results and go straight to purchase confirmation !Power User Setting!"

I think that's the opposite. I think that means yes, I want to purchase everything found, give me the confirmations.

Often I find things that recommend "bid" where the purchase price is close and profit is bid, and I'd rather buy. Other times I find things with a nice profit (9g) but a 6g difference in bid and buy, and I'll decide to take the bid and go for 15g. I'm looking the other way - I want to decide buy / bid on each, but then skip the confirmation.

    Thanks !

no there has to be the confirm click as that is when it actually searches the auction house to confirm that the item is indeed still a "live" item. as searchui uses the latest snapshot to make the list. it doesn't use the live ah.

here is the process. you scan the auction house, you do your resale search, you find a item you want, hit purchase/buyout/bid, the search engine then scans the live ah to find the item to confirm that it is indeed still there and can do the required action. if it isn't found then the item is removed from the list and the process continues.

at least that is the way i think it works. im sure the devs could give you the EXACT process but that is the main parts of it.

There isn't, this is a Blizzard requirement. Pressing bid/buyout initiates a search for the item, once it's found, Blizz requires a hardware event (keypress or mouse click) to intitiate the actual purchase.

As mentioned above, no it isn't good enough for Blizzard. They don't expose a unique ID for auctions to us, so we have to search for the item first, unfortunately, and we can't "re-use" that hardware event for the bid request.

PowerUser mode skips the initial "search" event, because we stop moving through auctions when we find something you might want to buy, so we don't have to search for it, meaning you only have to provide one hardware event.

    Unfortunately, it just isn't possible.

Ok, thanks. Just wish they'd accept the first physical click. I understand they want a click on each sale to avoid bots. the fact that the steps are in a different order, but its still one click per item ... oh well.

    Thanks
