    Hai, euhm, i was just wondering how far you guys were on a fix?

    I got tired of waiting, and i fiddled a bit around myself.

    I openen the GatherNodes.lua file, and did a find/ rename search for all old nodes, ie Saranite Node and such, and replaced that by Saranite Deposit (offcourse i did the same for Cobalt and the rich counterparts)
    Needless to say it works again, so i dont know if i missed something but well, work is all i expect from a mod.

    Even shows all my old veins and such, with their new names.
    Hope this helps, and i hope to see a fix incoming soon.

    Keep up the good work, i love this mod :)

    Ps, Titanium are now called veins, ie Titanium Veins

    ie

    Gatherer.Nodes.PrimaryItems = {
    [189978] = 36909, -- Cobalt Deposit
    [189979] = 36909, -- Rich Cobalt Deposit
    [189980] = 36912, -- Saronite Deposit
    [189981] = 36912, -- Rich Saronite Deposit
    [191133] = 36910, -- Titanium Vein

    Also changed all instances of the old naming, so it gets translated too on the (mini)map

    have you tried the latest 3.1.9 and the latest wowhead database? not sure if the fixes have been that far yet . also 3.1.10 is gonna be released as soon as the gatherer dev has the work done.

    not entirely sure but the wowhead database doesn't remove your it only adds the millions of others that other people have found so you have a complete database.

    Perhaps, but thats not why i made this post.

    It seems 3.1.9 is still bugged, as with the renaming of blizz's veins in northend. The steps i described above fixes that problem,
    Might not be pretty, but it works 100% and helps us get past the time, when a new version gets out :)

    Tibby,

    It's not bugged, the changes were made by Blizzard long after 3.1.9 was released. 3.1.10 will have the changes for the enUS locale and a couple others, in addition to a few other, unrelated changes.

    Matt, this is just about the renaming- it doesn't have anything, directly, to do with the GathererDB.

    Happy Gatherering,

    Nikk :shades:

    By all instances do you mean I should open up each file and rename each of the lines that have the numbers above with the new names or are you only saying rename those in GatherNodes.lua? I want to fix it as well but don't want to break anything in the process. Thank you.

    No, i only changed the names in the gathernodes.lua file, nowhere else.

    Did a mass find/ rename job on all 3 veins, with above names and voila :)
    We can use gatherer whilst waiting for a new version.

    @ Nechckn:
    i understand that, but by giving a minor update, or just telling people what to do, makes us being able to properly use gatherer while you are waiting for the translations (which may take days)
