Gatherer not 100% translated

    Hello.

    I know there is a translation for Gatherer, there are translations for all Norganna's add-ons.
    Though, Gatherers' one is not 100% complete. I mean, not all buttons, options windows, texts are translatable yet.

    For example, here is what Gatherer looks like in French :

    You can notice that gatherables are translated but not menus, on the left.

    Here is another "Settings" window that is not fully translated :

    I searched a bit other add-ons that support localisation of their UI. For example, the add-on "chatbar" uses a nice approach to localise its menus and buttons.

    I often tell players to use Gatherer but when they open the Options window, they give up because it's too hard for them to understand .
    Some players don't know how to use it since they don't speak english well.

    we have a highly efficient localization process in place already - all localization is solicited through localizer.norganna.org

    In this case, it appears the issue is that the menu items have not been set up for localization. Feel free to add a JIRA issue for this (if one doesn't already exist), and I'm sure Esamynn will be happy to add them in for a future build.

    Btw, is Gatherer 3.2 only planned for Cataclysm ?

    As noted over on WoWI, we will endeavor to ensure that there is a working Gatherer ready for Cataclysm, more of a 3.1.15, if you will. Anything beyond that will depend upon Esamynn's availability.

    If someone comes along who has the time to spend entering the gui text elements into Localizer and appropriately updating the element entries in the Gatherer files, then we could likely work something out. The first part is not all too bad, but the second is quite tedious and basically needs to be performed by the same person, so that the keys correspond to the given elements.

    Though, there's still a need for all non-english players to set their Gatherer options easily. Currently, it's still a bit difficult because they are not displayed in their own languages.

    Could it be possible to add all visible strings into Localizer ?

    Please, please, I really want to translate Gatherer completely in french (and I am sure other volonteers will do the same in other languages).
