Hi there. Been a fan for ages, but first time posting.
Been writing addons for a while now, and I've always wanted to track Archaeology with Gatherer. Tried to do it with a Gatherer addon, but couldn't get it to work, so I directly modified Gatherer.
Attached is my modified Gatherer, complete with Archaeology Icons. I've tested this, and it works almost perfectly. The one thing I couldn't fix was that the Archaeology tracking options are inverted for some reason. (Setting the tracking option to OFF will make them appear in the Minimap, while ON will make them disappear.)
Only the enUS data has been filled for the localizations, so that will have to be done at some point.
I hope this becomes a standard feature in the next release.
Just to help with the possible inclusion of this feature, I made it into a patch for 3.2.2 - it should apply for 3.2.3 as well, seeing as 3.2.3 changed only some locale strings.
I've updated my version of Gatherer with Arch. My implementation worked perfectly with the official 3.2.4 release. (All the nodes are still there.) Feel free to use the icons I made. You can download my updated release here: http://code.google.com/p/kjasiwowaddons/downloads/detail?name=Gatherer_v3.2.4_w_Archaeology.zip I'll obviously remove mine once you release the official version with Arch working.

Kjasi,
How very exciting! We surely appreciate folks posting such things - that has been on the "To Do" list for a while now.
Actually, we could really use some help to get some other items added in, too. The ticket at http://jira.norganna.org/browse/GATH-161 lists them. *Pretty sure that is the whole list, anyway.
As Dinesh noted above, Esamynn is really the only person who focuses on Gatherer and he has been busy with real life concerns, so we definitely can use some help providing that sort of functionality, if you are so inclined.
Our official source is kept in Subversion/SVN. To get write (developer) access, we'll need to get you set up with an account. Pop into our IRC channel and ask to speak with Neckckn, he'll get you set up.
