Gass Clouds Tracking/Nodes

    Is there an option to inplantation the nodes/swarming of the clouds, who can be extrated by engeneers with the Zapthrottle Mote Extractor (see http://www.wowhead.com/item=23821 ).
    Thus nodes/swarming location is not be saved by Gatherer nor there is an option to do so.
    Maybe you can inpant this option undes the Treasure Filter option of this program

    The name of all types of the gass clouds are :
    Outland :
    Windy Cloud (Motes of Air)
    Arcane Vortex (Motes of Mana)
    Felmist (Motes of Shadow)
    Swamp Gas Motes of Water)

    Northrend:
    Arctic Cloud (Crystallized Air & Crystallized Water)
    Cinder Cloud (Crystallized Fire)
    Steam Cloud (Crystallized Water + Crystallized Fire)

    Only probem is, that wowhead does not keep the ntes of thus gass clouds on there page, so this must be done by the engeneers who have the Zapthrottle Mote Extractor, and hope they will share the Database for this addon.

    I hope it can be build in, and i hope it will help the engneers in WoW (and ofc myself :))

    Idea : The locations sould be saved when a engeneer is useing the Zapthrottle Mote Extractor, becouse the coulds does not be reconiced as mob/vein/spot

    No, there is not currently such an option. It's been requested, but those gas clouds (at least the ones in Outland) move around, rather than staying in the same place, so there's no good way to record them.

    @AnrDaemon : nice answer... this was my first post and did not see this kind of posts when i was searcthed for "clouds", and if you say it was posted, place a link the next time with your "use seartch" answer!!!

    About Outland, and asfare i know, they will swarm indead, but when you pinpoint the location of the engeneer when its useing the Zapthrottle Mote Extractor, you can set that as a "Cloud Find place" with the type of cloud dermetate with the first drop

    For NE you can also mark places on the use of the Zapthrottle Mote Extractor of an engeneer, and you can dermetate what cloud it is with the first drop item. however you will see some more icons on a place, or you can try to see of the x/y is close of the ones that was founded.... the coulds will hover on the same locations, however the engeneer will stand on diverent locations x/y (i geuss its 10 ~ 20 yards from cloud to use the Zapthrottle Mote Extractor) and the clouds will hover not more then a 0,20/0,20 of the map locations where they are. I will not say it's easy ofc, but maybey you can give it a try, and i will valenteir myself to test if need (even when you make a seperated addon to test this kind of inplantation)

    I know programming is not easy and i know what i ask.... if its realy not possible to do this, then its oke for me, but pitty then (not that i will trow away the whole addon :) i will still use this addon as it is a handy one)

    I don't actually do much work on Gatherer, I work more on specific parts of Auctioneer. I've just been around long enough to have seen the conversations that have happened before.

    Gatherer isn't set up to show "areas" in which something may be found, it shows node locations very specifically and as such, there just is not a good way to do gas clouds, and Esamynn (the Gatherer developer) has not expressed any interest in implementing tracking for them, as it would require significant rewrites throughout Gatherer's code.
