I've tried on at least 2 different computers, each one using Windows 7 Pro (fully up-to-date), to get Auctioneeraddon to SCAN, but it does absolutely nothing! After selecting "Browse/Scan" button, the display shows a number, but no progress. I let it sit there for over 1/2 hr (at least 5 different times), hoping that the number would change, but it never does.

Reference:
* Before installing the latest version of Auctioneer Suite, I removed all existing Auctioneer-related files from the "Addons" folder.
* I rebooted.
* Then, I installed the latest version of Auctioneeraddon (Suite); went into the game; went to the auctioneer (person), started the normal scan "using the Browse/Scan button -- not the fast-scan", and it just sits there doing nothing!

I've done this 5 times, and same result each time, on two different computers.

I've read everything I can read about such issues (on Norganna's forums, and on the Auctioneeraddon web site, but that info seems to be totally out-of-date and/or irrelevant to this issue.

Blizzards' game works, but the Auctioneer Addon does not work with the game.

What are we supposed to do?
