Started with Api-page.

    Ok I've started with the Auctioneer API how to page. Since it is a help file I've put it in the Auctioneer help section of Auctioneer/en.

    Please take a look at this first part of this API howto (currently only the auctioneer functionality in the main window of AH is described. I will do the rest over the next few days (but I also want to play the game :shades: )

    I will probably later on replace the picture, since this is the picture I was playing around with in the test section of the forum, just to check which size I should use. (The size of the picture used is 640x480 and that is to small to see details. Is there a way to use a full window picture which is scaled, but when you click on it is full window? Does anybody know? Else I will use 800x600).

    I believe you can put a |thumb| in there instead of |frame|
    So something like:

    If you're going to do thumbnails though, you might even try something tricky like:

    [ [ Image:Image.jpg|thumb|right|Description of image ] ]

    What I wanted was not really thumbnails, but a smaller version of the picture, like you can do in normal html, thus like image and when you click on it you go to the full image (just like it now already does when you click on the image).

    Yeah, You just put the sizes in as well.

    I really can't describe every possible thing that you can do with wikis, images and thumbnails etc, you need to go and look at the documentation to work out how to do what you want to do. Here are a couple of good links that show off how powerful the wiki image syntax is:

    I already found some other wiki-help pages myself and discovered that the size I put in was good enough and should not be updated (by looking through those sites). But thanx anyway.

    But could one of the more senior peeps do a kind of review on my API stuff? (I think I put the things right and, except for the selection of the categories, did not forget a thing, but I want to be sure of the 2 windows I currently added).

    (I will add the category thingy as soon as I truelly figured out how it worked (or when somebody explained it). Does it mean that when you select Armor and then do a Scan it only scans the armor category?)
