After a long time away (and i still dont have much time yet), I have been able to get back and spruce up the code a bit and here is the results...

This addon is designed to give you the Big Picture view of your resources for auctioning.

It keeps track of the following
Bids out on the Auction House
Bid/Buyout of posted items
Raw value of items in bags (doesnt take deposit into account)
Raw value of items in bank (doesnt take deposit into account)
Raw value of items in Guild banks. (only visable tabs are scanned)
View details for any character you have scanned data for
The data captured can be viewed away from the AH

A robust set of options include:
Sub-Type filtering - Note a check mark at a higher level will override lower level choices
The ability to choose a pricing module
Subtracting (or not) Auction house cut
Filtering scan by Quality
Turning off individual scans
The ability to use Appraiser values for calcuations (may cause a slight delay)

A function is available to return the current total wealth of the current character to other addons.
This will not trigger any new calculations, so it will be as of the last snapshot of the data saved.
The proper way to get to it is to call AucAdvanced.Modules.Util.BigPicture.API.GetWealth()
This will return the total wealth of the character in copper
alternatly, you can also call it with AucAdvanced.Modules.Util.BigPicture.API.GetWealth('split')
this will return 3 values, gold, silver, copper

For those not using the slidebar, the addon can be reached via /bp or /bigpicture
