Norganna's AddOns

OK I know that this has been discussed a number of times but I feel like I can't find current information or are too blind to find exactly what I need. If it's been discussed or is in a sticky and I missed it I apologize, but I did try to RTFF and RTFM and I only ask you take pity on a poor blind fool.

I have two accounts on the same computer (not two toons, two separate accounts). I know that the gatherer information is saved in:

World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\ACCOUNT1\SavedVariables\Gatherer.lua

I know that I can transfer the file over to: World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\ACCOUNT2\SavedVariables\Gatherer.lua and have the information transfered over.

But if the two files are overlapping but not identical (ie some gathers made on one account and some on the other) is there any way to merge the two files? I found a VERY old perl script to combine them online but I believe it is for an older format of the LUA file and I'm WAY too rusty on perl to even consider trying to tweak it at all.

Moving forward once I find a way to combine the files is there any way to force gatherer to use only one file location? I.E. force it to use: World of Warcraft\WTF\Account\GathererSaveFile\Gatherer.lua or something like that? Or to automatically update both files at the same time?

I'm not interested in being told how to use the WOWHead gathererdb addon. I know how to do that and I know it would then give me basically all the nodes on both no matter what. Consider me a pseudo purist; I'd like to only use the gathers I've gotten for myself.
